Dr. Stokes has so many diverse interests and projects going on that she is sometimes prone to over-commitment or to move quickly from one thing to another without fully developing the initial project.   However, what she is pursuing is always innovative and worthwhile.  I encourage her to seek balance and at times to prioritize because there will always be projects for later pursuits.

Other comments

Dr. Stokes has been very involved in the SOE technology initiatives.  Her well-rounded involvement included curriculum development, training, planning for budget considerations, mentoring and other things.  She spent a great deal of time in one-on-one training of colleagues.  They found this help vital to their professional development.  There is no way we would have been able to have the multiple Canvas trainings without her extensive work to prepare training bundles and demonstrations.  I know she is anxious to spend the majority of time on CTL work; however, I am grateful that she will be with us for one more year to launch the SOE technology strand.

Dr. Stokes went through a successful tenure review this academic year.  I congratulate her on this accomplishment.  Her breadth and depth of professional work has increased substantially.
