The following email was sent from a Graduate Student in the School of Education. Please see the video clip he created to explain how my use of digital story telling enhanced his flipped instruction.

Subject: Re: flipped videos for your evaluation
I wanted to share with you a piece of how what I learned in your Literacy in the 21st Century class has changed my practice. For that class, we wrote and recorded a digital story, which got the ball rolling for me on how to record my classes to help students review at home or catch up on missed days. That morphed into a project to begin flipped instruction, and before I'm done, it may involve taking the entire class as an online video course… maybe. But I've included an example below of how I've been using and adapting what I learned in the Literacy class into my everyday teaching.

And since I'm writing about video recording, I decided to just produce a short (2:18) video recording that explains it better than my paragraph.

If you'd like to keep this video or any other one, you may. I suggest going to http://keepvid.com and downloading it from there.

Good luck.
